live pictures out of our nation's capitol, where police are clearing out a pro-palestinian encampment at george washington university. as you can see right now, it looks like police have the roads blocked off. and there's protesters and onlookers there, this is the shot we have this morning at 4:00. as i said, in the nation's capital, you can hear people chanting, the encampment has been building over the last 14 days or so in an area of the campus known as university yard. the school has been trying to bring an end to it, but has had no success. meantime, protesters there have been preparing for the police to possibly move in, and that's been going on since sunday. that's when the president of the university issued a statement calling on the protests on campus, illegal and potentially dangerous. at least eight students have been suspended so far. students, faculty, staff and community members are demanding a ceasefire in gaza. they're also calling on the school to cut its financial ties with israel
