said the judge said like, i don't want to do this and it's not just because of his stature of what he was and what he could be. >> it's there's no question that the judge understands that the political backlash to putting donald trump in jail would be maybe even in comprehensive judge texted me last night saying he's gotta do it for all judges all around. well, yeah, from the perspective of course it's pretty integrity. >> the judiciary, i think this judge doesn't live in fantasy land and no, not at all. huge fall back out, of course, back, yeah. >> for sure. all right well, on that note, a conversation dan and i are going to continue to have elliott two, i think all de here on cnn as we cover the trial, which resumes again and nine 30 this morning. thanks to our panel, congressman. thank you for joining us. thanks to all of you for being with us. don't go anywhere. it's gonna
4:01 am
new central starts right now smoke rising over gaza as these really military says, it's taking control the gaza side of the main entry point with egypt and cease fire talks continue after israel because the deal hamas agreed to was far from what they put on the table, breaking overnight a powerful tornado makes a direct hit on barnes. >> do oklahoma killing at least one person there this morning? the storm threat, not over nearly 100 million people across the united states are at risk when will we see testimony from the former porn star about the former president? could a courtroom standoff between stormy daniels and donald trump be imminent? i'm john berman with kate bolduan, sarah signer. this is cnn news central the breaking overnight,
4:02 am
israel takes control of the raffa crossing in gaza. >> ivf tanks are seeing moving in to that critical entry point as the idf also conducted new airstrikes in an effort for israel, as israel says, to keep pressure on hamas to agree to a ceasefire deal, is really troops captured the crossing after israel has, after israel, as israel has long viewed, this main crossing as a main route for hamas to smoke arms. this does raise fears though, that humanitarian aid could come to a halt, stop moving into gaza altogether. aid workers now telling cnn there is no safe place to go, no& no way to get there for the 100,000 goggins told to evacuate at the very same time here in the united states, president biden is about to deliver a keynote address to mark holocaust remembrance day during which he's going to speak at the horrors of october 7th and the following rise of anti-semitism
4:03 am
cnn spec anderson is in abu dhabi following all of it this morning and there was a lot going on. what is the very latest that you know of what's happening in the raffa crossing right now, becky yeah it's been a very, very, very busy 24 hours and a complicated one. >> let's search, let's get you what we know is really forces you rightly point out, i've taken over the palestinian side of the raffa border, crossing the idf, referring to it as having operational control of the area you've been showing video there. and we'll show it again of soldiers rolling into their tanks replacing palestinian flags with his flags. this crossing has been the main entry point, of course, for aid to gaza over the last seven months i went this is on the egyptian side of the border. have said that all the aid trucks that would normally be waiting on that side to get in have gone and borger officials and both sides have been asked to leave the area and aid agencies are warning that the interruption
4:04 am
of aid entry will hold. what is this critical humanitarian response? across the entire gaza strip? israel also targeting raffa airstrikes overnight and into this morning, kylian leaves 23 and i think it's important to note that refer has been hit with airstrikes for days and weeks now, killing hundreds of people. many residents have now been told to evacuate to an area that many on the ground say does not have the basic needs for survival. people are terrified let's just point out what the israeli perspective on this is refer was necessary. they say the foreign minister israel katz saying, and i quote, in the past few hours, the entry of the idf into raffa promotes the two main goals of the war. that is the release of the hostages and the defeat of her massive fought for the hostages. he says a quote him here, dear to our hearts for those whose released we are
4:05 am
bound by a supreme obligation and we'll do everything to bring them home. he said that mask& would know would have long ago been crushed and thrown into the dustbin of history. and he just went on at the back end of that to say that effectively, despite the political pressure on israel, they will continue with their strategy k and ceasefire toxins and continue now today, all parties saying that they're going to be headed back to the negotiating table. how much progress is made adds to as you rightly described as quite complicated. and it was very confusing. what was up, what was down, what was being agreed to yesterday. but now we're learning more and they're heading back to negotiate today, becky. thank you so much. >> sarah. all right. >> the di tornado warnings turned into a deadly reality in oklahoma overnight, powerful storms ripped through the state, killing at least one person, and leaving a trail of
4:06 am
destruction. their barns doll, oklahoma took a direct hit it is the second tornado to hit the town. it just over a month today, nearly 100 million people are under a severe storm threat from texas all the way to pennsylvania. cnn's lucy cavanaugh is in barstow this morning lucy what are you seeing? we have been seeing such devastation in the area that's right, sarah, what we're seeing is the aftermath of mother nature's wrath. we are just on the outskirts of barns doll, oklahoma behind me, a residential home. the parts that were built out of stone still standing, but a lot of this no longer livable family will have to find another place to live. as we walk over here, this was a garage structure that also was a part of this property. and that tornado the direct hit here, flattening this structure. i don't know if you could see it behind me,
4:07 am
but over there is a pickup truck could just gives you a sense of the scale of this destruction. and further behind me, storage units. so you see a lot of the items that were their boats personal possessions strewn about completely destroyed. i mean, there is nothing to come back to there. and that is just a small glimpse of the destruction that took place overnight in this area of barns doll is a population of about 1,000 people. we actually haven't been able to access the inside of the town because we are hearing from the oklahoma department of emergency management that there is a natural gas leak. there's also so much debris that roads are blocked. and the priority right now, sarah, is on those search and rescue efforts. we mentioned as you mentioned in the intro, at least one fatality confirmed so far. but right now, teams are going house to house or what's left of the house to make sure that there is no one still stuck or
4:08 am
trapped beneath, to make sure that they can account for everyone. in this area. now the oh, sage nation reservation is also nearby. we understand there are certain search and rescue efforts underway there, and also bartlesville, another town nearby, taking a direct hit. so in terms of historical tornadoes in oklahoma, this isn't as massive as thankfully it could have been. but obviously for the residents of areas like this, there's not much to come home home to sarah and you mentioned rightly, lucy that there is still search and rescue efforts happening at this hour, so we don't know really the scale of this just yet, but as light comes there, we will be able to see it and we'll come back to you. thank you so much to you and your team who are out there looking at this devastation. john all right, from banking papers to the porn star, when we might see stormy daniels testify in the case against donald trump. >> and how will trump the habe after the dramatic direct to throw him in jail? an american

is the easiest way to reduce sugar kettler cell take some average thunder against tonight at 6:30, nba playoffs presented by google pixel. what conference. semifinals covers presented by weighing stop on d12 could this be the de the stormy daniels takes the stand and the criminal trial against donald trump. prosecutor say
4:14 am
they had two weeks left in their presentation, though that is almost certainly more than they will need. and after walking page by page to the financial records of the payment scheme to stormy daniels. we could learn suh whether she will take the stand. we are also watching trump himself after the judge warned him he could be tossed in jail if he violates his gag order. again, see it as brin june grass live outside the court this morning. so where are we right now where the witnesses leave us yeah john i feel like in the last couple of weeks, so we have some hurt in dramatic fashion why prosecutors say donald trump committed these crimes yesterday was about how right. >> so it was a little bit more horrible slog for jurors to listen to, to go through these documents like you just said, page by page. but this is the bones of the prosecution case. so this was very important and that's what we learned from which two witnesses that took the stand, both trump organization employees, one who's since retired, one who was still cord currently working the accounts payable, a trump org and essentially
4:15 am
prosecutors laid out for jurors that $35,000 payments that were paid monthly to michael cohen from either former presidents personal account or from the truth crossed. and one of those witnesses essentially said that he knew those were reimbursements to michael cohen, but he didn't know why. another one of the witnesses, the one who currently still works at trump org, said that she would cut checks and there'll be sent down to washington pc. so trump consign them from the white house. now way one was the defense's turn to come up. they were trying to distance trump from having knowledge about what these checks we're actually four. so we'll see you again how that plays out for jurors. but before that, court really started out with a bang because the judge essentially then finding trump another thousand dollars holding him in content amped up cord for remarks he made about the jurors and essentially really threatening jail this time. i want to read something. he said in court, the judge said your continued violations of this court's lawful order threatened to interfere with the
4:16 am
administration of justice on in constant attacks, which constitute a direct attack on the rule of law. i cannot allow that to continue, and our colleagues are actually reporting that there is continued conversations about what exactly it would look like if the former president actually was put behind bars for being contempt of court. so we'll see how that plays out. but listen, john, you just set it two more weeks. the prosecution says they need for witnesses. this court this trial continuing, it's unclear who will take the stand when we start up today, but there are as you've said, a lot of people in line, people we're be interesting when they take the stand, john, interesting to say the least. and as far as that jail time goes, the judge really didn't make it seem like if donald trump says something about the jury one more time, that's it. so we have to watch what he says very, very closely. a brynn gingras, it's great to see you. thank you very much, sir. >> all right. ahead. and israeli airstrikes have killed multiple people gaza and israel says, it's now in control of the rafah crossing on the

weighing stone on tiantai on our radar this morning for you, a former ukrainian olympic athlete has died fighting in the war with russia. alexander pelo chienco was a weightlifter for ukraine at the 2016 olympics in rio de janeiro, where he just missed a bronze metal finishing forth and his event, he joined ukraine's armed forces in the early days of the war his former weightlifting coach said and oppose war takes the best. and heroes don't die. chienco was 30 years old miss usa, stepping down noelia voigt of utah says the decision is in the best interest of her mental health. she was crowned in november of last year and was the first venezuelan american to win the title, the organization says they will announce the new miss usa shortly and the husband of an american woman reported missing in spain is now in federal custody, the fbi says he was arrested in south florida for his alleged involvement in his wife's
4:30 am
kidnapping. the woman was reported missing back in february. her brother told cnn, she was supposed to meet a friend at a madrid train station, but she simply never showed up john all right. happening today, president biden will deliver a keynote address at the us holocaust memorial museum in washington the president expected to speak on the atrocities october 7, as well as call to fight the alarming rise in anti-semitism in the united states. seasons are let signs at the white house. this has been a speech on the calendar for a long time, but i think the importance just keeps growing greater yeah, it certainly does, john and president biden plans to use this holocaust. remember, is speech as an opportunity to offer a forceful condemnation of anti-semitism in the country. but it also comes as biden is trying to balance his steadfast support for israel's campaign against hamas with growing frustration shin, over how that war has been conducted especially when it relates to the impact on civilians in gaza. now, that
4:31 am
frustration has manifested itself in protests on college campuses across the country in recent weeks. but those protests have also resulted in some anti-semitic incidents. which has caused growing concern for president biden and the jewish community. white house press secretary, korean john pierre, says that the president plans to address the horrors that took place in that october 7th attack by hamas, while also talking about the alarming rise of anti-semitism in the country. they administration also planning on taking a number of steps to try to address anti-semitism at this time that includes the department of education sending a letter to school districts and colleges, campuses outlining some examples of anti symmetric discrimination that could be investigated under title six of the civil rights act. but even as the president prepares to deliver this speech on anti-semitism, on the grounds of the capital of the, he is also grappling with an increasingly fluid situation in the middle east overnight is
4:32 am
real, took control of the palestinian side of raffa while israel has said that that is a limited operation the white house has been watching this with some concern, president biden making clear and a phone call to israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu about his position on rafah as the administration continues to warn against a wide scale operation there that could impact civilian lives. take a listen to national security council spokesperson john kirby, just yesterday we don't want to see operations in and around raffa that make it harder for the people that are seeking refuge there and shelter to be safe and secure now it also causes the us is still trying to work towards a hostage and ceasefire deal with hamas just yesterday, offering some type of counter proposal to some of the items have been discussed in negotiations, were told that cia director bill burns will be back in cairo
4:33 am
today as those talks can continue. but really, this back-and-forth and the 24 hours has highlighted the fluid situation on the ground in israel and in these talks with the white house, really hoping that they can push forward these negotiations the coming days. >> all right. a lot going on there this morning. let science at the white house. thank you very much, kate. >> and there's are still 128 is really hostages being held in gaza today for more than six months, families have been calling on israel and the world to do more to secure the release. one of those families is the family of abby. abby is an american citizen soon lives in israel. five of her family members were either killed or taken hostage in the october 7 hamas terror attacks. two of her family, eight-year-old, carmella dan, and 13 year old noir dan, they were killed 12-year-old arrays and his sisters, sixteen-year-old. so haar they were taken hostage and released in late november. their father, ofir cauldron is still being held, believed to be held by hamas in gaza right now. and their family, abby own
4:34 am
joins me now it's good to see you again, abby, thank you for being here. i want to ask you about the confusion around an agreement accepted a deal agreed to the conversation around the proposed the proposed agreement to secure their release. that seems to be on the table right now. it could mean 33 israeli hostages released in exchange for hunting thirds of palestinian prisoners released from israeli jails and something like a 42 days cease fire what do you think of that proposal? would you like israeli leaders to accept a deal like that where where is your head today on this? >> i think bailey were heartbroken and deeply disappointed with hamas accepting this deal yesterday, which in essence was psychological terror, because they accepted a deal that is all hadn't agreed to and so it
4:35 am
is kind of alive to the world to put them in the right light. but last week we saw letter from 18 world leaders that demanded the release of these hostages of my cousin. oh, fair. and of all of them. and i think that's what we want people to focus on right now. this is the first time that hamas has accepted to any deal to release any hostage since late november. and so we feel like there is an opening that we really want world leader israel and the united states. and ever else to help push for it curious if this like two step forward four steps back, and you call it psychological taryn and what and what hamas said yesterday do you see this as progress it's hard to say. i think if we're looking at it from an optimistic point of view, they agree to something, but without knowing the details, without being ecke negotiating table they may have agreed to something that is
4:36 am
entirely impossible for israel. >> and all i know as someone who has a family member who for 214 days has been kept in a tunnel without access to the water, who be undergoing intense abuse. >> it just seems that for all of us, for people who care or about justice and humanity and fairness that the one thing that we should be demanding is that all of the hostages come home ofir and hirsch and the beavis children and mom, every single one of them has to come home and that would bring an end to the tensions here have you heard anything about oh, does is he still believed to be alive our hope is that he's alive. we haven't heard anything to the contrary and we it was shocking and hard to see the videos last week, but there is proof that these people are alive but that their lives are in danger every single hour de,
4:37 am
week that they are act there. >> and we know that ofir is and we are sending him all of our strength and a consistent basis, but we need them home and we need them home yesterday my colleague, a arlette from the white house was talking about the important speech that president biden is going to be given to, going to be giving today to mark holocaust. >> remember brands day and he's going to talk about the horrors of october 7 in the speech and also use it as a clarion call to fight back against the rise of anti-semitism here in the united states and around the world. it's seen as a precarious moment for president biden in pushing israel to balance balance, defending itself and also prevent deaths of palestinians civilians in gaza. how do you feel about this moment? you've five family members, your entire family horrifically impacted by this. how do you feel about
4:38 am
this moment in this day and where this war has gone? >> i feel like our world has been on fire since october 7, that there was a cease fire on the toolbar six that hamas broke i have always said and i stand by the fact that we do not want to see any death whether it be on a set of israel or the people in gaza that it is heartbreaking, mourn every single loss but that hamas has the ability to end mass, and that is by bringing our family member's homes. >> it is a simple humanitarian act of bringing innocent civilians. when you're old babies and 86 year-old holocaust survivors home to their families and allow us to figure out what we do to move forward abby. >> thank you for coming on with me once again. may our next conversation be talking about the return of your cousin? ofir. thank you.

being incarcerated is slim to none but the poor judge is sort of like the the boy and the di he's got his finger in the hole trying to stop the flood but he can only do so much the whole being trump's mouth. and that is how do i control this defendant so that he does not destroy the trial process that i'm supposed to protect is the judge. so that's that's the issue he wants to get deeper into the trial. he wants to get through the trial. that's why you've seen this what i think has been sort of a delayed or a stretched out ruling on some of these issues that is more time to get deeper into the case, but you write trump has not highlighted the order since, and so it's big to talk about that, go into jail. it's another thing to actually have some metal braces slapped bone-in realize you may be going off somewhere, even if it's to a place different than than some place like rikers island now, let's talk about what the jury heard yesterday. >> mondays testimony from two
4:43 am
witnesses, really important because jurors finally get to see this of documents that prosecutors say were falsified & this was sort of getting into to the nitty-gritty of the details here. we heard this from deborah tarasoff, who works in accounts payable for the trump organization. she said, look, she was asked by the attorney. now you talked a little bit about invoices and i'm quoting here, i want to talk a little bit about who could sign the checks, particularly for the donald j. trump account, who could sign the checks? he asked for the accounts in 2016 and 2017 and she says, well, you're talking about mr. trump's personal account and the attorney says, yes and she says only mr. trump the attorney asks again, was that true back in 2017 and 20 she said yes. and she said that it's still that way today so she is still working for that organization. she further says that if trump didn't want to sign a check, he certainly wouldn't do it can you give us some sense of how important
4:44 am
this kind of testimony is and how far this went to help potentially the prosecution make their case. that donald trump knew what was going on here because he signed the checks well, our testimony was important because it starts to connect some of the dots and that is can you actually put a pin in donald trump's hand? can you put a check in his hand under his signature, but that really is not the crux of the government's case. the case deals with hay be falsified records as it relates to federal election law. and so that has not been accomplished yet. so they're moving that way too. it i mean, this is a paper case. paper cases are not inherently interesting. this one is a little different because of the a former president, but the prosecutor asked to put some meat on the bone. so if they've sort of started building out a little bit of the flesh and they're they're, they're getting that way, but they're going to have to now go from he knew about the checks he signed the checks over two. he actually was involved or gaetz some
4:45 am
direction gaetz direction as it related to these faults, business records that are at issue in the indictment okay. >> i just wanted to get to something that is just as happened now. so you and i are both learning this at the same time. we know that downwind from just posted on social media, he says, i have just recently been told who the witnesses today. this is unprecedented, no time for lawyers to prepare what do you think about this? we have known this throughout the trial. the reason is because of what we talked about at the very beginning, which is fear he was going to violate the gag order and talk about witnesses or the jury. and so that's why his attorneys are getting this. they have a list of all of the people who were potentially going to take the witness stand but now donald trump complaining about the fact that he just learned about the witness today and it's unprecedented. what do you make of this i think it's probably much ado about nothing. >> i mean, it is a little unusual. lawyers typically well, as a courtesy, tell the other side, tamara, i'm expecting this or i expect that i'll have so and so on the
4:46 am
stand for today that gives you some time to prepare if you need other things to do, especially when you have a trial that takes this long. i that's usually that's sort of the professional courtesy that goes back and forth. there are reasons that that's not happening here. but this sort of standing up and paton your chest and claimant's you've been harmed because somebody didn't tell you until this morning? who might be on the stand. i mean, that's just the way it rolls for him because he's not been able to keep his mouth shut. and so there's this reason that being that the prosecutor does not walk the witnesses to be subject to tweets and comments and postings and all the night before the day before they testify is if somehow that might put pressure on him. and so this is probably a bad of his own making. but it certainly is red meat to the base, two to play into the game and play into the argument that he's being abused and misused by the criminal prosecutors here, that this is a sham and so not much substance to his to his post, but certainly some fodder for the campaign trail michael moore, you rightly
4:47 am
point out this is not just a legal trial, this is something that is political for donald trump and he is using this as his campaign stage. >> every time he can. i really appreciate your time. thank you for coming on this morning john i do suppose one question is, which witness could he see that we'll get under his skin like that? >> why is he upset about the witness this morning? we'll find out shortly. the meantime, overnight with only a couple hours left on the countdown clock, nasa scrubbed the launch of the boeing starliner rocket due to a technical issue, astronauts were already in the cockpit when it was decided they would be on the ground for at least another day. this is supposed to be the first kroos mission for the starliner. and if successful, it would join space x is crew dragon, rocket and shuttling astronauts to the international space station. c. and as kristen fisher is at cape canaveral look, it's been a long difficult road for starliner this is one more bump in the rhoad. i think they didn't want or didn't need
4:48 am
yeah. >> but the irony here, john, is that this scrub, despite all these delays last night, scrub was not caused by boeing. last night scrub was actually caused by an issue with the rocket that propels the boeing starliner space in this space. so you have a starliner on top, the rocket on the bottom the rockets called the atlas five. >> it's built by the united launch alliance and the irony is that the atlas five is americas longest serving active pocket. this is a rocket that's responsible for launching. this would have been its 100 launches, a 100% success, rate very reliable. >> but last night right, about two hours before liftoff with nasa astronauts, sunny williams and bureij will more on top and inside that starliner spacecraft, they ran into an issue where they found a faulty oxygen relief valve. this is the kind of valve that vince some of the oxygen, some of that pressure that builds up from inside the oxygen fueling tank. and so out of an
4:49 am
abundance of caution, they called off the launch, the united launch alliance said, if it had just been satellites non-human payloads on top of that rocket, those satellites would now be an orbit. it would have gone ahead with the launch, but because there were people on board for the first time, they decided to scrub and delay another day. so if all goes according to plan, those astronauts will launch again. they'll spend about a week up at the international space station and the whole point of this is to give nasa some redundancy in terms of getting their astronauts to the international space station. so they aren't 100% reliant on spacex to get their astronauts there and back john cristy fisher at the caplets and terrific job of explaining the context there of what delayed the launch. we will see if they get off the ground today. thanks so much, kristen okay. so, uh, louisiana police officer got the surprise of a lifetime and all so in helping to deliver a baby on the site of the rhoad, according to see in an affiliate waf be the officer, jason lee. he was wave

worried the wedding would be too much another destination wedding. five years my backyard with power, we can only my financial questions answered, so we don't have to worry empower what's next? how we'd really haven't with jesse you, martin sunday's at night on cnn this morning. uh, health warning. there is new science on what ultra processed foods do to our bodies, including our brains signed to say, eating ultra processed foods like sobeh chips, chicken nuggets, frozen pizzas could be harming your health and making a gain weight. cnn's magda row has the details for us. first of all, this is what our mothers have always been telling us what's new here there, what's interesting about this is it's sort of a new way of classifying food, not based on the nutrients. >> you know, how much sugar or fat or salt something has. but actually it's degree of processing and this is leading to new avenues of research. it turns out that more than half
4:56 am
of the food that us adults consume is considered to be ultra processed. 57% according to recent estimates. now, what this actually is ultra processed foods is based on a formal classification system that groups foods into four groups. group one is unprocessed, or minimally processed, things like fruits and veggies, milk, eggs meet rice, things like that. group two are processed culinary ingredients, things like oil, butter, sugar, and salt. then it gets a group three, which is processed. but you're not yet at ultra process. that's essentially when you're combining groups one and two and you've got like veggies that are in brine or you've got freshly baked bread or cheese, things like that. then you get to group four, which are ultra processed foods and some experts don't even really refer to these as foods. they call them food products because they're sort of created with these industrial processes. and these are all of the words you see on food packaging that you have no idea what they are for the most part, now there have been a ton of studies linking
4:57 am
ultra processed food foods to all kinds of health problems. but there is only one controlled clinical trial that actually shows a causative effect of eating these foods. it was done by the nih on 20 people who actually lived in the nih hospital for a month. and what they found is that when folks eight ab diet made up mostly of ultra processed foods, on average, they'd about 500 calories more. and over two weeks, they gained about two pounds. people eating an unprocessed diet had the opposite effect. they lost about two pounds in that period of time. these are important implications guides for our health and may show up in the new dietary guidelines, sara really interesting stuff. meg, a lot of us knew that ultra processed foods we're not pat good for us, but the way they break it down is actually telling and i know that you have a special episode of the podcast coming up here called chasing life. it's out today all about ultra processed

foods. so make sure you take a lesson. john all right, this morning, one republican is urging his fellow party members to vote for president joe biden, geoff duncan, the former republican lieutenant governor of georgia, published a piece title why i'm voting for biden, other republicans should two, he says, quote, donald trump has disqualified himself through his conduct and his character trump has shown us who he is. >> we should believe him to think he is going to change at the age of 77 is beyond improbable geoff duncan is with me now along with cnn, senior political commentator, a former special assistant to president george w bush scott genics all right. lieutenant governor were listening, convinced republicans scott jennings and your other fellow republicans that they should vote for president biden well enough is now if donald trump is not our future, he's not are present. >> and now looking back, he certainly wasn't are passed a donald trump's a fake republican. he's proven that over and over and over again. he simply wants to position of

president to be powerful and he's willing to lie, cheat, and steal for it. and if we're going to fix this party and go forward, the party that is conservative but not crazy and angry. we've got to do it without donald trump. and i know it makes sense to try luck to republican to be the president. but if we can get past donald trump, have a republican controlled congress. we can have a firewall in place and then we can take the next four years to fix our party and get a legitimate candidate to forward that can lead us in the right direction scott, i don't want you to feel like you have to answer on behalf of donald trump, but as a life long republican, how do you think most republicans will take this? well, most republicans are not going to vote for joe biden. very few republicans are going to vote for joe biden. the course of the political analysis question for donald trump is we'll enough republicans or republican leaners vote for joe biden to help him win the presidency. i think jeff is speaking for a very small minority of the party. they're going to take that position. but at the same
5:00 am
time, they're going to be some democrats. maybe a lot more democrats that decide to vote for donald trump actually think this election is an interesting scramble. you're going to see people who you would traditionally think of as supporting one party shift to the other. it's jeff's he's a the kind of a voter i think that it represents the shifting sands of our politics under trump and biden. and the kinds of coalitions that they're both able to attract. you see it in all the polling and certainly seems to be reflected in jeff opinion piece that i like to do. i have to say one comment about jeff's argument. i he wants to elect a republican congress as a firewall. that does nothing to restrict the present united states from all executive action that they can take. and i think most republicans would say the most harm joe biden has done. it's been on executive action, ignoring the supreme court and so on and so forth. and so having a republican congress doesn't save you from that unless you're willing to impeach the president lieutenant governor, and we are just about at a time here but you do think that this isn't you state in your writing, this isn' n
